Tuacahn Amphitheatre: Shows, Tickets & What to Know
The Tuacahn Center for the Arts is Southern Utah's signature performing-arts venue — a 1,920-seat outdoor amphitheater set at the mouth of Padre Canyon in Ivins, adjacent to Snow Canyon State Park.
The venue
Opened in April 1995, the 42,000-square-foot facility includes the outdoor amphitheater, a 328-seat indoor theater, a black box theater, a dance studio, and costume and scene shops. It also houses the campus of Tuacahn High School for the Arts.
What's on stage
Each season Tuacahn produces two or three large musicals on the amphitheater stage, plus a spring and fall concert series. Recent and signature productions have included Beauty and the Beast, School of Rock, and The Count of Monte Cristo.
Christmas in the Canyon
Every December, Tuacahn produces "Christmas in the Canyon" featuring the Festival of Lights — a live-action nativity recreation that draws visitors from across the region. It's one of the most popular holiday events in Washington County.
